Busy weekend and week so far...John had a shooting match (http://www.ntps.org/ and www.uspsa.org) on Saturday which lasted most of the day. He did very well and is getting ready for the state match next month.
Later on Saturday, we met some friends at The Old Spaghetti Factory (http://www.osf.com/) downtown for dinner. It's a really pretty restaurant with beautiful wood floors and ornate wood carvings throughout the restaurant. In one of the dining areas lies a train dining car with steps going into it - inside the train are tables and chairs so you can sit in there and eat as well.
We went to church on Sunday (http://www.ibcnashville.org/) and afterwards met my cousins who were in town for the weekend at Blacksone (http://www.blackstonebrewery.com/) for lunch. I worked from home Sunday afternoon/night and before I knew it, the weekend was GONE!
Today is mine and John's 2-year anniversary - he was very sweet and brought me flowers at work today and took me out to Zoe's (http://www.zoeskitchen.com/) for lunch. Then we ate tonight at The Firefly (sorry, no website but AMAZING food) in Green Hills.
Tomorrow, John's mom and some of her friends are coming up to see "Wicked" (http://www.wickedthemusical.com/) at the TPAC (http://www.tpac.org/) - we have tickets to go Saturday night). We're meeting them tomorrow night at Bosco's for dinner (http://www.boscosbeer.com/), so we're looking forward to that.
As you can see....we eat out alot. If you're ever visiting Nashville, please let us know - we can recommend some great restaurants! We feel it is our duty to do our part to stimulate the economy... :)
That's all for now - 'night!
