Last weekend, our friends Amber and Andrew from back home came and visited us. On Saturday, Amber and I went shopping, out to lunch and got manicures and pedicures while John and Andrew went gun shopping and out to eat. We met back up Saturday night and went out to Cabana in Downtown Nashville (http://www.cabananashville.com/).
On Sunday before they left, we went to Noshville (http://www.noshville.com/) in Downtown Nashville to eat breakfast. Andrew was the first to notice we were having breakfast next to Luke Perry! We were seated in the back corner of the restaurant. Luke was sitting next to me facing the wall. I'm sure they put him there on purpose so no one could really tell he was there. This was my second famous person sighting since living in Nashville. My first was Young Buck --he had parallel parked his Escalade on Music Row and when I was driving past, he decided to open his door. I almost took his door off! There was no wreck though, so I am thankful for that - it was just a really close call. John was with me when it happened - if John hadn't recognized him, I don't think I would have known.
John gets to see famous people frequently in his line of work and is "over it." As for me, I still think it's kind of neat. I don't ask for autographs or anything - I try to give them the same respect and privacy I'd want if I were a celebrity and out minding my own business. But that's just me.
